Brand of the Week; Matt and Nat

Matt and Nat have been a brand I have been lusting after for about 2 years now. They started off pretty small and only selling in Canada, where the brand was created. Today they sell all over the world and are listed on ASOS and for good reason, the brand is pretty special!

                                    BERLIN Bag | £120                                                        AKI Bag | £75
The use of leather has come to my attention more and more recently. Maybe it's because I'm becoming more environmentally aware or maybe the idea of walking around with a dead animal on me has lost its attraction, I'm not to sure. When I first started thinking about how unnecessary it is to kill animals for our clothes, I wondered how many brands there are out there trying to change the norm.

                             REITI Bag | £105                                                                 FABI Bag | £110
Matt and Nat are one of them. There name even stands for Materials and Nature. They are a vegan brand and so no animals or animal products were used or harmed in the making of their products and I think more and more fashion should be heading in that direction.

DREW LG Bag | £70                                                  MITSUKO Bag | £145
Matt and Nat have innovated from their conception. They've used a variety of recycled materials from carboard to corks. Now all their linings are made out of 100% recycled plastic bottles, approximately 21 bottles per bag.

                                WAPI Bag | £120                                                           ELI Bag | £105
The actual bags themselves are made from vegan leathers which are proven to be less harmful than real leather for the environment.

In addition they source sustainable materials included recycled rubber, cork and nylons.

                        KISHU Bag | £105                                                       PETITE- NATURAL Bag | £70
With the mantra of "live beautifully", its hard to not only appreciate the company's ethos along with how incredible their products are.

                                                                          HOPE Bag | £50
In particular their HOPE bag, where all of the purchasing price apart from taxes and shipping fees goes to a charity of your choosing! To me, that is exceptional!

What do you think of Matt and Nat? Do you have another sustainable brand?

Love
