Leeds RAG Fashion Show; Talkin' 'bout a revolution

So this post is a little late but its the first chance I have had to talk about the amazing fashion show that LRFS committee put on to raise money for Leeds Refugee Council and Leeds Mencap.

So where to even begin?! With the show of course

Stylists and Production did an absolutely phenomenal job with the show which was made up of 5 scenes: Expect Resistance, Kaleidoscope, Peace for the People, What's on your Mind? and Born Naked, with each of them having an important messages to take home from.

How incredible is this bodice?!

Expect resistance was filled with punk looks and rebellious attitudes, The outfits pardon the pun rocked!

Kaleidoscope was a huge celebration of LGBT pride and how far the world has come, especially in the past year. I absolutely love this red coat, it was stunning. There is nothing like some bright colours to make you feel great.

Peace for the People came next...

With funky costumes and beautiful kimonos throughout, what's not to love!

messaging on stage, so 21st century!

What's on your mind? was the next scene in the show after the interval. This emoticon dress was such a great addition! Amazingly the models actually took selfies the entire time on the catwalk. The theme looked at the impact of technology on our life with futuristic costumes filling the runway.

The final scene was Born Naked. This was all about equality and the feminist movements that impact culture, society and fashion with the free the nipple closing the show.

The entire show was phenomenal and managed to raised a huge amount of money for the chosen charities.

To be a part of the show was honor. To think that it was all just talk back in October is crazy. The production team and stylists really did do an amazing job on the night and I think I can safely say we all let our hair down in celebration after the night which was a huge success.

Thank you to anyone that came and if you did, I hope you had a great night!

I wore Lavish Alice on the evening. It's one of my favourite outfits in my wardrobe!

Have you ever been to a fashion show? Are you involved in any charity events?

Love
