If you haven't heard of LRFS then where have you been? It is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year at Leeds University and in the city of Leeds in general. With 800 guests the night is filled with glamour, fun and naturally fashion.
The theme, "Talkin' 'bout a revolution" is going to, not only a talking point for its fashion but also about the world we live in, trying to show how fashion can be accepting to everyone as it is one of the best ways to express yourself. It's a privilege to show just how far the world has come from the awareness of transgender to acceptance of disabilities, age and racial diversity, it is all a step in the right direction and something that needs to be celebrated whilst looking to the future.
#Freethefashion wants everyone to feel like there are no boundaries, just how anyone could have auditioned to be a model. This year is all about showing how diverse the world is and how that is ok.
This years event will be raising money for Leeds MENCAP, a fantastic charity to help those with learning disabilities and the Refugee Council, something that is very relevant right now.
Tickets are now available online here, or if you're around Leeds Union then you can grab them on Thursday and Friday this week and all next week until the show on Thursday.
I hope to see you there for what is going to be a fantastic night that is raising money for great causes!
Love
