If you haven't seen my first part of my trip to South Africa
have a read here. We had an amazing time, and so I really wanted to tell you
about some of the places we stopped off.
First stop after Durban was Chintsa.
Our hostel in Chintsa was called Buccaneers and from my bed
in the morning I could see the sea! The view was stunning and because we arrived
at night when we first woke up it was such a lovely surprise!
We then headed to
breakfast at the hostel where one of the best views I have ever seen can be found.
We had wanted to go horseback riding along the beach but due to high tide that evening it wasn't running so instead we headed down to the beach, took a little dip in the sea and then headed for lunch at a beautiful hotel called Crawford's Beach Lodge for just over £5 they give you an all you can eat buffet with super high standards or food.
We then had the adventure of having to cross back across the
beach and river to our hostel but because the tide had come in so much that
meant leaving our things with Morgan and wading across the river to the other
side before going to collect them. Once we had finally got back to the hostel we
went and played volleyball with lots of other people in our dorm, they provide
free wine with the rules of every time you swear or say sorry you have to drink
and it certainly gets really entertaining by the 3rd game.
The hostel provides
meals if you book in advance and so that evening, was a traditional 3 course
South African meal that was so delicious. We then headed down to the fire that
was built on the beach for a lovely evening under the stars talking and sharing
stories with other people from all over the world. Crazy enough, I met someone
from my home town of Congleton too! It really is a small world.
The next day we left Chintsa for Port Elizabeth, singing
songs all the way, playing pranks and getting to see some beautiful places.
After dropping the car off at the airport we were picked up by John the owner
of Orange Elephant Park.
After settling in we got to have a real traditional
braii with wood which was brilliant. It was certainly a cooler there than in
Durban.
The next morning we headed out to go spot some animals in the Addo
Elephant Park. We got to see lots, including a very close encounter with a herd
of elephants that was amazing along with seeing a caracal which is really rare
as they are very secretive cats.
After a long day animal hunting we then headed to the bar which is owned by the family and grabbed a bite to eat followed by a game on beer pong in which I realised how truly awful I am at aiming.

The next day we headed to Daniell Cheetah reserve and we
were lucky enough that the female cheetah that you can go in with came over to
us and allowed us to stroke her which was amazing. They are working to release
cheetahs into parks across the country and doing some good work, they also have
quite a few servals to.
We then headed to the complete a Zipline that over
looks the valley and was so much fun! Sadly I wasn't feeling well that evening and so we called
it an early night as we were leaving at 05.30 to catch the BazBus to Jeffrey's
Bay but it was certainly a jam packed few days.
Have you ever visited any where along the wild coast? What do you think of my trip to South Africa so far?
Love
