Your Weekend Travel Companion

Ever wanted a book to tell you what to do in each city of Europe if your going for a weekend? Well I have just that for you!

I got this book for Christmas and not only does it look beautiful sat on my shelf it is filled with the most amazing tips and things to do in cities all over Europe.

It seems to have become my travel companion and since I received it I have wanted to plan trips every weekend!

So here is a look at the inside-

The book is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside with brilliant pictures of the destinations they talk about along with places to stay and eat too.

With big cities having multiple weekend trips, reading the London pages made me realise how little I really know our capital at all!

Hopefully I will be able to do 2 weekends and find all the places I never had heard about.

With 125 trips in them book, I really don't think I will ever get through them all, but it sure makes me want to try, and who knows, maybe I will get to at least tenth.

Currently along with my essential trips to London I hope to visit Oslo in the near future but who knows where else may crop up.

The New York Times 36 Hours in Europe is available here for £16.99. There is also other books in the 36 hour series for Asia, America and Canada allowing you to really travel the world.

Have you got any trips in Europe planned? Where would you like to go?

  1. This book seems perfect, in fact thank you for helping me settle on what had been a very hard to find present let me tell you. This would be perfect for my friend and me as I can use this book as a pretext for an impromptu girls weekend away!
