Mariylin Hair Mask by Lush- Review

Since returning from Africa my hair has been in need of a deep condition and when I saw this mask in Lush I thought why not give it a try. The women in the shop was raving about it too.

So here I am now telling you all about the product.
Firstly I love the name, because really what isn't there to love about Marilyn and if I could get blonde hair like hers, I would be very happy!

The packaging for this product was really nice and simple. with easy to read font and instructions which I always think deserves top  marks.

This product was slightly runnier that I was expecting and so although it easily went on your hair it did also seem to get on my sink too. I also noticed straight away the smell of the mask too, now I personally wasn't to keen on the mask smell and I cant even describe it to you either but the ingredients are a combination of Chamomile for lightness and to calm your scalp, saffron for golden colour and lemon for shine. I persevered with the mask and after having it on my hair for 20 minutes it was then time to wash it off.

After shampooing, conditioning and blow drying my hair it was time to look at the final result and I was actually really impressed. Although my hair wasn't as soft as I would have hoped for the mask really did dull down any of the brassy yellow shades that my hair had which gave it a complete new look and lease of life which was definitely needed.

So, if you want to give your hair a new lease of blonde life, this product is definitely worth persevering with. If you are looking for something to hydrate your hair, I think there are better products out there but that doesn't take away from this product and its Marilyn blondness at all especially when it is such a reasonable price at

Have you tried any hair masks? What are your favourites?

Love
