Visiting London; Clapham & Rooftop bars

So, last weekend my boyfriend came down to see me and we met up in London for what turned into a very busy few days. It was a lovely weekend with some friends and I got to see parts of London I never really had before which is always a bonus!

I travelled into London on Saturday evening after work and after dropping of my bags at our friends we headed straight out for a meal. We started off our evening in Clapham and ate at a restaurant called the Cornish Tiger which offer an amazing deal of 3 courses for £11.95 if you are there before 7pm which is such a bargain in London.

All three courses were delicious, I started with Ham hock, followed by a broccoli and Stilton tart and finished off with a pavlova meringue. I had to take photos of every ones meals though they looked so good!!

We then decided to head into London to find  rooftop bar and someone had the crazy idea to Boris Bike in so we could see the sights!

I absolutely adore this outfit at the moment. I feel like monochrome looks really smart and some how can still be summery. This cape has been one of the best investments I have made this year

I'm not normally a bike person, I love any other form of exercise but it was actually really good fun, especially as we were all in our nice clothes so we must have looked like a crazy bunch. We cycled passed Westminster, Downing street and through Trafalgar square before arriving at Madison which is located at the top of a shopping arcade.

If you have never been to Madison, then I would highly recommend a trip! The views over the city are incredible and the fact you are right next to St Pauls Cathedral is so cool!

The terrace is huge and the fact that they offer a cocktail for £7 is a miracle, the rest of the drinks are as you would expect from London though (expensive).

We then decided to head back to Clapham and call it a night.

In the morning we all met up for breakfast at The Breakfast Club. If you have never heard of it, like I hadn't then you are really missing out. The place reminds me of an American diner with smeg fridges and it even has a old washing machines on one wall!

There is apparently always a big queue and we waited around 30 minutes for our table but it was so worth it!!

The menu is really extensive and offers anything from the healthy to the huge fry up.

I opted for the green smoothie and the blueberry pancakes with a side order of streaky bacon ( just like the American maple bacon!)

The food was amazing and if I could I would be there every weekend! It was definitely needed to fuel the day before we all went off to do our own thing!

Stay tuned for Part 2 of my London weekend, (we did a little to much to put in one post).

Have you ever visited London? Where are your favourite places to eat?

Love
