A New Skin Care Routine- Dermalogica Review

Hello, I hope you're all enjoying your weekend! As it's Sunday, I felt like it was a good day to talk about my new skin routine, because Sundays are the day where lounge pants, baggy jumpers and bare faces are present in every household.
For the past few months I have been really struggling with an oily forehead and T- zone and no matter how many times I used my Clinique 3 skin routine nothing seemed to work.

I had been using Clinique since I was 13 years old and although I had changed a few products it was basically still the same as it was when I first began a skin care routine. So I decided that maybe I should try a new skin care range to see if that would help balance out my facial oils.

Breaking my love for Clinique wasn't easy but I when I was in Selfridges I saw the dermalogica counter and felt like it was worth a try. After filling out a form about my skin and habits I was then examined by one of their skin care specialists who looked at me under magnifying glasses to see what my skin and pores looked like in close up. She then prescribed me some of their products.

Instead of spending a small fortune on products I didn't know would definitely work I decided to buy their tester kit to see if it worked and it has!

In the 2 weeks since I bought the kit, my skin oils have completely changed. I no longer get that shine on my forehead that I used to and the rest of my skin is still in in great condition. I couldn't be happier.

I firstly use the cleansing gel and remove the soap with a cotton pad to try and remove all the grime from my face, I then spritz myself with the toner before applying the moisturiser. It is as easy as that!

So many people try and fix oily foreheads and t-zones with powders and makeups but it may be as simple as creating and trying a new skincare routine.

I am over the moon with my results in such a short period of time and have been left feeling more confident in my skin as well.

Have you ever tried dermalogica products? What is your skin care routine?

  1. I love the daily microfolient! It's quite pricey at just over £40 but it lasts for months and months and is so gentle but thorough x

  2. Oooo I may have to try that then! Although expensive I do think they are worth it. x

  3. Use tretinoing ONLY at nightime, before you go to bed. Facial redness will occur if you use it in daytime because the skin cannot toleate sunlight when Tretinoin is applied.
