What to wear to a wedding? OOTD

Last week I went to my first (and only) wedding of the year and so I wanted to share with you what I wore to the lovely occasion in the Lake District.

Weddings are always hard to know what to wear especially if you are going to both the day and evening parts like I was.

I decided that I wanted an outfit that could change but still match and look amazing. After hours of online shopping I bought my entire outfit from Lavish Alice, my new favourite online shop.

This co-ord set is beautiful, the top has a wrap around belt with a loop that you can see at the front, and the skirt thas the matching coloured waist band to tie them together.

The skirt was the perfect length as it didnt show of to much skin, especially as I had some of my back out with the top.

In the evening I opted for trousers to keep me warm, like the top they had a pull across tie that looks really unusual and gives the front a pleated effect that I really liked. The cape has to me my favourite piece of the outfit. The fabric is really soft and I can image that it can dress up even the simplists of outfits.

My bag was a last minute find in the dorothy perkins sale for £9, and my shoes were my own from ASOS last year.

In the evening I opted for bold dark purple lipstick which added a little more drama to my look whilst in the day i had kept my makeup very soft and toned down.

My whole outfit cost under £150 but I was lucky as they had a 25% off easter sale when I ordered!

At the minute the outfit is available for but they do have flash sales quite frequently:
Top; Online here for £38/ Skirt; Online here for £40/ Trousers; Online here for £48/ Bag; Online here for £9/ and last but definitely not least my cape online here for £54.
As my heels are from last year, similar ones are online here and here.

Now if you are a student you can find most of this outfit on ASOS and you can apply your student discount but even if you dont this collection is still worth the cost!
