A Fashion Icon

Audrey Hepburn was a British actress, humanitarian and style icon with her most iconic roles include Breakfast at Tiffany's and My Fair Lady. She had recieved nominations for Academy Awards, Golden Globes and BAFTA. She was also the first female star to have won a Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe for a single performance in 1954. Now that is what I call an achievement.

In later life Hepburn dedicated a lot of her time to UNICEF working predominantly with disadvantaged communities in Africa and even won the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Sadly Hepburn died in 1992 of appendiceal cancer but her name and gracious style certainly lives on!

For fashion she often worked with Givenchy in which he often made the clothing for her films and they became friends because of the multiple collaberations. Somehow, after 35 years she still managed to maintain the same measurements as when she first me Givenchy.

Hepburns fashion was relaxed and casual which is still today seen so very often.

Here are some of my favourite pieces today that I feel still have both the elegance and relaxed feel that Audrey Hepburn who would have been 85 today had.
