HD Eye and Brow Palette Review

I've been planning on writing a beauty review for what feels like a lifetime and this being my first review it felt like it had to be good and I'm excited to share it with you so you can tell me what you think about it as well as any tips you may have.

I discovered HD brows completely accidentally when, in my glamour latest in beauty box last year, I recieved a small HD palette and boy did it change my view on brows! I had never really been into the whole big dark eyebrow thing, mainly because I have quite large eyebrows naturally but that palette changed me. When I sadly dropped the palette when I was in Africa last year it gave me a great excuse to try out the new version.

Last Minute Valentines Presents for Him and for Her.

I always find that trying to plan Valentines gifts is a little bit of a nightmare so I thought I would come up with a few last minute ideas that you will be able to get on time thanks to ASOS next day and Amazon Prime, and if you can be bothered to head out into the shops.
So...

The Grill on Newgate Street, Chester Review

I am a MASSIVE fan of all the Blackhouse Grills, but had yet to try out the one in Chester and so, took the opportunity whilst living there to head for a meal with my best friend Charlotte.

In January Blackhouse were offering 50% of all food and so it was the best of two worlds when I got to have amazing food for less.

On entry the Bar area is perfect for grabbing a cocktail (or two) and waiting for your table.

I would highly recommend the passion fruit sling, its so fruity and as it's in a tall glass it will last you much longer than your typical cosmo.

We were seated in the middle of the restaurant which is suprisingly big and we could see into the huge open kitchen which I always think is a lovely quality when you can whitness your food being prepared.

Although being nearly a regular at the one in Leeds and Alderley Edge I decided that I would try something new to eat and I'm so glad I did.

For a starter I had the duck spring rolls (since I tried them 2 years ago, no other starter even compares and I am slowly converting everyone I go with to them as well). Everything about them is tasty, especially the dipping sauce and I have often been tempted to just order 3 plates and have them as a main!

For main instead of just having a steak like normal I decided to try the crispy beef fajitas and they were amazing. The beef has a slight spicy kick and the amount of extras you get to create your perfect tortilla is crazy.

If you're a fan of fajitas then these are simply a must!
.

Charlotte had a burger which also looked mouthwateringly good. Dont you just love the little chip frier the chips come in?

Then the night sadly had to draw to an end. I was too full for pudding this time, but it does give me an even bigger excuse to return and try out even more of there delicious menu

Somehow Blackhouse got everything right with the atmosphere from a live pianist and the buzz of conversation around you to amazing food and fantastic cocktails. If you're looking for a great grill to go with friends then you really dont need to look much further.

Have you ever visited any of the Blackhouse grills? Whats your favourite steak house? Get in touch

The Checkered Trousers; Outfit Of The Day

Trousers, especially well fitted ones seem to have become an obsession for me recently, so, when I found this amazing pair, I couldn't resist.

A Quick Trip to Brussels

Just before New Year I planned a surprise trip for my boyfriend and I to Brussels. I had never considered how easy it really is to just hop on the Eurostar and within 3 hours be in a completely different country.

We arrived on our train in the afternoon and after walking to our hotel and unpacking we headed out to see what the city had to offer.

Let the blogging commence!

Hello All

So, last year I started my fashion blog, but due to a crazy term at university, and leaving the country for 3 months I wasnt able to continue it.

2015 is going to be different, I'm going to be travelling the  UK left right and centre and although I will be travelling to do wildlife projects which you can look at and keep up to date on erinthemadcatter.blogspot.uk I will also be meeting friends and thus reviewing where I go, what I eat and most importantly what I wear.

A Fashion Icon

Audrey Hepburn was a British actress, humanitarian and style icon with her most iconic roles include Breakfast at Tiffany's and My Fair Lady. She had recieved nominations for Academy Awards, Golden Globes and BAFTA. She was also the first female star to have won a Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe for a single performance in 1954. Now that is what I call an achievement.
