Glamour Summer Beauty Edit- Item Review

I love glamour magazine (if you didn't notice from my instagram @erinkaywilliams) and so when ever they have produced a beauty box in partnership with latestinbeauty.com I have been sure to snap it up. Normally I would just say what products are in the box but this time, I decided to have a go using some of them to give you a mini review as we go along.

I absolutely loved the watermelon packaging its so summery and I'm REAL sucker for tissue paper and streamers! This box was crammed with lots of goodies including some of the hottest products around.

1. Pixie Glow Tonic- The blogging world has been raving about the glow tonic for some time and this was the first time I have ever been able to get my hands on it. I have been using it after my dermalogica cleansing gel and have been really surprised how brill it is. It reminds me slightly of my old clinique toner but this doesn't leave my skin oily in the morning and i do feel I have a glow. Its £18 and available here.

2. Vita Liberata Trystal Bronzing Minerals- Now this bronzer is meant to have self tan built in but I have been using it for nearly 2 weeks now and have only noticed a slight tan appear. The brush that comes with it is super soft and the bronzer is a really lovely colour, so I am enjoying using it but it doesn't seem to have worked very well on me. I am working outdoors a lot so may be I'm gaining more of a real tan but at £35 available here, this isn't cheap. It has won lots of beauty awards though, so maybe my skin doesn't want to show any more than a tiny colour change.

3. Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon, Shade Peach on the Beach- I was really surprised at just how pigmented this colour was, as it looked really pale on the stick. It really does give great coverage and reminds me of clinique chubby sticks which I adore. They do keep your lips moisturised, maybe for not as long as the chubby sticks but for a good few hours which for only £7.99 is incredible. I will definitely be investing in some other colours now that I have tried this and I would recommend the same for you!

4. Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying Face Cream- I would never normally wear factor 50 on any part of my body let alone on my face but I thought I should at least give this ago, The suncream worked (I didn't burn anyway) and it did feel really light on my skin. I normally get a really oily face from suncream and this did seem to reduce that from happening so it has made me consider investing in the lower factor. If you have sensitive skin then I would really recommend trying one of these.

5. Nail Inc Gel Effect, shade Uptown- This product is brill! I really love the colour that I have as well. My hands are put through a lot at work and so although I did gain a few chips after a day the nail varnish held up really well. The gel effect is quite like the Barry M polish but I found that this goes on slightly smoother and it dries remarkably quickly as well. You can invest here for £15.

I have yet to test some of the other products in the box yet, which include the Caudalie Divine Oil, Sun Seekers Temporary Tattoos, and the Balance Me Super toning Body Polish, but they may well appear in my Months Favourites!

Have you tried any of the products before? Do you like Glamours beauty edits?

Love

  2. They normally do them for each season if you go onto https://www.latestinbeauty.com/collections/ then you can see the boxes that are on at the moment. This one cost £17.99 but the products in it are worth any where between £45-£90 so they are brill!!! The christmas ones are always amazing as well! SUPER PRESENTS!
