So, today I wish to talk about a recent foundation gem I've discovered. I have been using Clarins foundation ever since I stole a little from a friend for a night out 2 years ago. The fact that it smelt like cucumber and was really fresh on my face made me wonder why I was wasting my time with any other foundations!
When I recently went to top up on the Clarins True Radiance I found out about the Ever Matte and thought it was worth trying.
I am so glad that I decided to invest in it as well! Along with the fresh feeling, like the other foundations such as the Ever Matte or the Skin Illusion, it also has the added bonus of reducing shine, which for me is brilliant! When you apply the foundation it feels so silky and doesn't leave your skin feeling clogged like so many foundations yet provides enough coverage so you can feel confident in your skin.
I really do think this is the best foundation I have ever used. My skin doesn't suffer from breakouts when using it and it gives me the perfect amount of coverage for day wear and I can just freshen up areas at night. The fact that it also have SPF15 which is oil free also means that you are protecting your skin against the sun just by making yourself look great. So what's not to love?
I wear shade 108 as my skin is quite fair on my face and has a yellow undertone but there are so many shades for all different skin types so you are bound to find a perfect match which makes the foundation look even better.
This foundation is £27.50, so it's not cheap, but I do prefer it to MAC which costs the same and so for me, its worth every penny.
